Mahdi Teimouri

Mahdi Teimouri is currently Assistant Professor of Statistics with Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science and Engineering at Gonbad Kavous University, Iran. He completed his studies at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (for BSc in Statistics in 2001, Iran) and Amirkabir University of Technology (for MSc and PhD in Statistics, respectively, in 2003 and 2017, Iran). He also was a postdoctoral fellowship at School of Mathematics and Statistics, Carleton University, Canada in 2020. His research interests mainly are focused on model-based clustering, mixture models, alpha-stable distribution, computational statistics, developing R packages, statistics in forestry, statistical signal processing, measurement error, Monte Carlo methods, and statistical inference (in the case of missing data, latent variables, and censored data).
