My doctoral dissertation ("Taxonomy and Phylogeny of the genus Rhinebothrium Linton, 1890 (Eucestoda: Rhinebothriidae) in some batoids of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman) examined the evolutionary relationships among the cestodes from batoids in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman and with their relatives. On the other hand, we found several species that were new to science. My dissertation committee consisted of Seyed Hossein Hosseini, Ph. D., and Gholamreza Mowlavi Ph.D.
